Welcome to Nickol+Johnson Hair—I am a hair stylist with over 20 years of cut & coloring experience in Northwest Portland. I offer everything from balayage and babylights to foilyage and double process color, but one of my specialties (and favorites) is Japanese Thermal Straightening. The art of creating sun-kissed, natural-looking, and low maintenance hair is what I do best. My approach to hair color has always been to enhance hair’s natural beauty while maintaining its inherent health. Trained in many color lines throughout the years like Wella, Schwartkopf, Kenra, Loreal and Redken, my new favorite no ammonia color line is Duomo from Italy. Health is very important to me and I want to ensure that I am doing the very best for myself, my clients as well as for mother earth.
